If the compressor is too weak to fill the holding tank before it reaches the safety shutoff temp or timeout then it would give the symptoms you speak of.
-is the compressor loud?
-have you tried running the compressor, when it stops, cycling the key and trying again?
compressor isn't loud at all. The previous owner put a new arnott comp about 7k miles ago so should still be good.
Since the front end is pretty much on the ground, as soon as I start the car. The jack mode light blinks and comp kicks on, 2 minutes later it shuts off. I'm surprise that the comp doesn't kick back on after cooling down or whatever it is that its doing. I will try cycling the key....
Thanks!
