    oregon plates question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I finally received my Oregon plates for my Audi. When I replaced them from my CA plates I noticed the decals were in the lower corners which is almost entirely covered by my AudiZine plastic frame holder! Can i move the decals on the top corners instead like my previous CA plates? Have anyone done this without any issues?

To my knowledge you can not do that however if you put the plastic frame holder on then put the stickers where they would be that should be good so just slightly above the original sticker place... This is really only important for the rear license plate as the front one can be covered.

Hope that makes sense... I am in Hillsboro where are you located?

I've run the stickers in the wrong corners on my Crater Lake rear plate on the S5 for 4 years now. I started out with a plate frame from Achtuning, and being that they're a WA shop and WA uses the opposite side of the plate from OR, it covered up the designated OR corners. So whatever, I just put them in the other corners.
Haven't had an issue thus far except one DEQ worker that got on my case about it 2 yrs ago.
I know violence isn't the answer. I got it wrong on purpose.

For the time being I put in a couple washer to hold the plate in place without rattling until I find a plastic trim that won't cover the decals.

Nobody will probably stop you but if you get stopped for something else that could be an added issue. I would just change the frame and put the stickers where they belong. Get your oil changed at Willsonville Audi and ask for one of theirs. It would be probably free +you'll get to see the 2017 q7 and other toys, drink coffee, and get a free car wash. BTW their plate frames are nice. I did that when I got my plates. Or you can go to Beaverton Audi but their frames are not as nice.
