Atleast lee at ftg answers his phone, cant say the same about xs power. I also liked how xs power sat on my downpipe order for a month then shipped incorrect parts.

Lee is good in my book and im still going to buy the various chinese parts i need from him from time to time

Seems odd though... It would seem to me that a company would seek legal actions rather than tell everyone to place claims against him... Or if it were all legit, to have their lawyers present PayPal with documentation about the transactions...

It is my understanding that xs power and ftg do a lot of business together. Lee visited xs power in NC mid OCT to pick up exhaust parts. i know this because at the time i was waiting on downpipes for my build and was considering driving up to north raleigh and buying some out of Lees trunk i got so sick of waiting on xs power!

Perhaps xs power got pissed that ftg found a cheaper supplier than them. No need to discredit his name without facts.

Im in no way associated with ftg or xs power btw :)

Yeah that was my understanding... I'm feeling like its a fake and unfortunately is going to cause him a lot of trouble! I sure hope it is, for his sake... I mean, that's a hell of a thing to send out like that...

For what it's worth, I ordered an exhaust from him on Dec 31st... It was drop shipped from xs-power... I've not gotten any letter from them.

Uhm... I have a question... Why would xs-power write a letter to all of FTG's customers and then put all of FTG's contact information on it like it was from FTG?

This is completely fake... I mean seriously... They'd have their letter head on it, their address and phone numbers on it... Not everything of FTG's contact information.

I actually just heard from him... Via messenger. He's not able to discuss anything as per his lawyers advise, but he did say that it is not true and that he's been in talks literally all day with all kinds of government business regulatory groups. I'm not gonna say anymore bc I don't know how much should or shouldn't be talked about.

I'll leave it with this though. Anytime I ever dealt with him, his was straightforward and honest. My transactions with him have been very professionally handled and I've never had a complaint about him or his product. I won't be doing anything about it.

As long as you didn't buy the catback/downpipes through FTG, it's irrelevant.

Can't comment on the authenticity, but a couple people on B5 group who'd supposedly purchased from FTG posted screenshots of them receiving the email. Also, FTG posted the other day that they and XS-POWER were no longer business partners (obviously not by Lee's choice). So, I believe this to be authentic.

They did not put FTG's contact information to make it seem as if it were from them. They put it there so that customers would have recourse in getting ahold of Lee to get their money back. Seems pretty simple to me.

I just love how China takes over a platform like it has for the b5 s4. It's amazing isn't it? Total game changer. People don't know quality and just see low prices and shiny chinesium. I mean it's fine when expectations are set but to think the ftg turbos are USA made and on par with tial 770 is lollerific.

Guys... It's a $400 exhaust. That said, when I ordered mine they didn't have the twin 2 listed. I placed the order for the twin 1, and wrote in that I wanted the twin 2. They sent a confirmation E-mail shortly after and sent me the twin 2. Drop shipped straight from Japa.... China. Whatever.

Now, I won't be buying any turbochargers or critical components that are drop shipped. If they don't first go to the seller for a final inspection they are trash IMO. I fully believe that some of those companies rely on drop shippers, and will bait and switch the seller with him non the wiser.

I had a good experience with SSAC in terms of their communications, but I'm a firm believer that no matter what the price point is on your products, there are no excuses for poor communication or being hard to get a hold of.

Lee has been a stand up guy in my book. Has always stood behind his products and warranties. I have successfully logged over 15 thousand miles on one of his turbos holding at 25 psi on a reflect tune with 550's. Just installed two of his K04-XL's in the last month.

I'm curious to see the outcome. There are 2 sides to every story. While he has been the ass of a few jokes I'd gladly do business with him again.
