Xpost: Help resolving trunk electronics code

(X-posted here just in case this gets seen by someone who doesn't frequent the main forum)

I've gotten this a couple of times, but haven't been able to find any solid info on how to resolve it beyond replacing the entire part.

Is there an actual problem with the trunk or just a code? If it's just an intermittent code I wouldn't worry about it as long as the trunk works like it should.

A semi-reoccurring code, but just a code for now.

On rare occasion, I will push the button and the trunk will close an 1" and stop like the button was hit a second time to stop it. Hit the button again, it would continue to close without issue. It opens every time without issue.
