Let's discuss rear spoiler option for B8.5 !!

I did my homework and wanted to create this thread as I haven't seen really one that didn't into a piss contest on who's too cheap to be a generic or how bad the quality of a 800$ CF part is... So here it is ;

I wish people could comment on the quality of their installed spoiler and post pic of the fitment of it. I know the B8 are most well-known, but I'm trying to collect information about the b8.5.

On some angle, I do like the enlase, on other, I just think it stick out too much. So I thought it would be nice to see other pictures others the brand's own picture.

Discuss ! Am I forgetting something ?

#1 Caractere spoiler ( 530$);

$529 in primer finish on ebay, fitment looks better, not sure if this is a real image though.

They say it fits A4s and S4s, but maybe it fits A4s better?

#2 Osir 500$ ( not sure thought it fit the b8.5 as i only see the b8 listed) this is prob my favorite.. a bit cheaper than other and a bit less agressive. perfect in-between i think!

#3 ECS-style spoiler 50$ : ( again, is it made for B8.5. if not, i guess on ebay you could find a copy of the ecs for b8.5 i imagine...

I just came across this thread and thought I'd post some pics of a spoiler I purchased off eBay. It is very subtle but I like it a lot and everyone who sees it says they like it. It adds a little something extra that the trunk was missing.

#4 MS design ( seems like a copy of the ECS and can't be purchased per quoted post)

This one from MS Design is the perfect size and fitment to compliment the S4 trunk IMO...but alas they don't sell the spoiler individually, only the full body kit.

Thanks for creating this thread. It's nice to see all of the options in one convenient place. I believe the Audi OEM option is only suitable for the A4 trunk, though.

I'm a fan of #1 and #5. I searched and do not believe #5 is in production any longer. like you I want something to accentuate the back end a bit more. If you find #5, let me know. Charactere's one is nice and I'd like to go with that one as well, but can not find anyone that sells it. I tried to contact lltek and got no response from 3 emails. Found a replica on amazon and it fit like shit so its going back tomorrow.

I don't think there is any difference between trunk of the B8 and B 8.5 S4. I know the B8 A4 trunk is different. IMHO #3 is horrible.

I've never been happy with the selection of spoilers for our car, but thought a little add on spoiler would be perfect. The MS Design one is perfect IMO (I'm one of the guys that reached out to them to find out they only sold the entire body kit). The ECS spoiler is one of those universal flexible spoilers you can buy in multiple lengths...not a fan of that. I've come across this one on ebay from time to time, unknown brand...much too blocky and doesn't flow with the body but this is a thread about spoiler options, right!?

Looks good but I believe the competition package still has the standard A4 trunk lid...different from the S4 lid thus won't fit.

It's not obvious but the S4's trunk looks to be narrower (width wise) and it almost looks like it has a more pronounced spoiler already compared to the A4.

IMO the Enlaes spoiler fits the best and the OSIR spoiler is a close 2nd (even though it's only available for B8). everything else just looks out of place or too skimpy.

#4. But I'd like to see a closer shot. I really would have preferred that Audi had just made bigger trunk lip. oh well. As for the enlaes rear diffuser...i like it. it's so over the top, that it works (for me), if that makes sense, lol.
