RS Performance Coilovers - Anyone heard of them?

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster - finally found something that the almighty search engine couldn't help me with .

After giving my boss a ride to the car dealership after work last week I can no longer put off upgrading my suspension. He mentioned not once, not twice but, three times that the car rides rough all in a 15 minute car ride. I've known I needed to change to something a little more street friendly for a while (roads up here are THE WORST) and had mostly resigned myself to purchasing a set of ST's as the sound like they would provide the best balance I was looking for. Then the dollar tanked... and now a set of ST's are going to cost me $1,100+ CAD which is a tough pill to swallow. For reference I'm coming for a very old set of Koni struts and Tien springs. The car rides low, bounces, and every crack in the road is felt. Also, I'm not building a race car here just a fun DD; I am willing to sacrifice being as low as possible and as great handling as possible for some extra comfort.

    Enter RS Performance coil-overs. http://rsperformanceinc.com/shop/coi...awd-1995-2001/

I can't for the life of me find any info on them. I emailed them and they claim to make the coil-overs themselves and have been in business for 10+ years. They have a little bit of stuff on social media but, not enough for me to make any sort of informed decision on. So, what are we looking at here? A case of you get what you pay for? A re-branded set from another mfg?

I'm hoping these can be an alternative to the ST's but, I have my reservations.

From my experience unless you spend closer to the $1500 CAD you will end up with a similar ride quality as what you have right now I would assume (my STX cost $750 US so if that equals 1100CAD... that really sucks). Low and handling do not go with comfort unless you shell out big money for adjustable dampening and rebound.

I love my coil-overs but my stock non sport suspension was far more "comfy" and "plush". Those two are the main reason I replaced the suspension. I don't want a BMW or MBZ, I want a fun go-kart (even if its really big compared to true "go-kart" cars).

Edit: Most important part, I've never heard of that brand but from the discription they are trying to compete with KW V2's or even V3's. With the crazy price difference (how cheap the rennsports are) I wouldn't take the chance. But that is just my two cents after saving money and going with the STX over the KW V2 or 3.
