Anyone ever paint their big ass shiny muffler cans black?

The more and more I look at my mufflers from behind my car the more they look to me like a huge fartcan muffler on a ricer (if those even still exist). Anyone ever paint their aftermarket mufflers black w/ hightemp paint to at least hide the muffler a bit?

I've this has been done before and posted on here. I vividly remember it was on black B6 S4 where he painted cans and left tips as is on his FI catback. I'll see if I can dig up pix

I had my JHM setup Ceramic coated Black using Cerakote coating to match the Ti package on my RS4. Don't get me wrong the finish of the JHM exhaust was beautiful, however it was just too much shine on an ALL black car. Came out great, and really recommend this to anyone. Cost was roughly $180.

Looks good! Did you coat the whole system or just the rear section?

Just after the muffler is where I had it coated to, which is completely out of sight on a lowered car. First pic shows the paint line.
