Finally! My Own Vegas Yellow RS7

My exclusive order RS7 in Vegas Yellow arrived yesterday. I have not had time to shoot better photos and was only able to snap a couple quick ones on the dealers parking lot. In person it looks absolutely stunning. I originally ordered it in Nagaro Blue but I was shopping for a blue Range Rover SVR at the same time so I decided to change it to something else to avoid having two blue cars in my garage. Never had a yellow car in my life so I figured maybe it's time to be a little more brave. Soon though I ended up buying a BLACK SVR so the color duplication is no longer an issue. I suddenly felt scared. Maybe the yellow is too much... Maybe it's going to look like a taxi? I finally grabbed the phone and called the dealer asking them to change it back to Nagaro Blue. They did, or so everyone thought. Got the call yesterday and they were like, we are sorry, there is good news and bad news... The car still arrived in yellow!

I said, "Is it like a taxi?" Richard said, "No, it looks like a super car. Come take a look and see if you want it."

I figured, if it looks bad the I won't take it. Or if it looks good, then I will pretend I don't like it that much and ask for some compensation.

Then I saw the car. It's glorious! My grin is so wide my ears hurt. No way in hell I could pretend to not like it! So here it is, my yellow Audi. The pictures below don't do its justice, not even a fraction of it. I will take better pictures once I bring it home!

I will delete the front plate, that was specified in the order. I will get a remote-controlled retractable plate holder instead :)

Thank you! Definitely keeping it. It looks better in person than Nagaro blue actually (there is a Nagaro Blue S5 in the showroom so I get to compare the two).

I was going to specify that after I asked to change the car to yellow from blue. But since I changed my mind almost right after that I didn't bother to ask them submit this modification to the order. The carbon option IMO doesn't add much to the blue, but definitely essential for the yellow. I didn't expect I would get a yellow after all. lol. I think later I might ask the body shop to blacken some of the trims. The brushed alumnim mirrors actually look surprisingly good on the yellow car though!

Looks awesome - I think a car of this caliber almost needs a "loud" color

I think it's actually fortunate that you didn't have black optics spec'd. Then it would look like a taxi!

Fastest taxi on the east coast! That thing is beautiful but expect the cops to pay closer attention to you.

Valid point. Even though I usually drive at very reasonable speeds and respect the speed limit, it probably is a good idea to get a good radar detector for this car anyway. Any recommendations?

Not sure what you mean by this. Im a Waze Beta tester and I see police reports all day long on my current version(which was updated last night 3.9.9.0). I do also have a V1 in my car with the YaV1 app.

Hmm I still run waze out of habit, but I read something about the newer versions limiting how far out the LEO is reported. Like a 1/4 mile or something. I'll try to dig up a thread and see what they're talking about.

Edit-- obviously I'm wrong on the version numbers heh

Honestly, as long as a LEO is reported at least a mile ahead of me, Im ok with that. Today I got a notification that there was police reported 15 miles away from my location on my route. Must still be working.

I just realized you could possibly be on an iPhone in which case you would be on version 4.1.0. My apologies, Im an Android guy.

The yellow looks great. There were some really nice S4s commonly in yellow, but it does look like a yellow Lambo or yellow 911 Turbo. Great exclusive.
