I have a 2003 a4. I have no heat. I have changed the water pump, thermostat, and have flushed the heater core and cooling system. I will get some heat when I am driving at high rpm. I also noticed I am not getting coolant to the heater core. When I pull the top line off to bleed it I will get a small amount of coolant then it stops. The bottom line is hot. Any help would be great.

Might want to do a core flush. I did it with CLR on a passat and it worked great. Same thing it only pushed coolant at high rpm. Get some hoses, connect them to the heater core pipes, and run a drill pump from a bucket with clr. Filter the return hose and keep pumping CLR to clean the crap.

Probally a good idea to flush the engine too. The jury is out if CLR is good or bad through the engine.

Check your coolant cap, sometimes they go bad and will not give u pressure in the lines because it bleeds out...when this happend to mine, unfortunately my head gasket was shot...same exact symptoms, pipes were hot to rad but no pressure to the heater core and i damn near replaced the whole cooling system to track it down....good luck
