    Question Recall Q?

Have a Question about recall repairs.
Received a letter from Audi regarding a recall. Can't remember the exact issue, but it has to do with the oil loss.

Took it in to the dealer and before they could check it for the recall issue they say my engine has oil sprayed all over the place. Turns out the cam sensor O-ring needs replaced. Fixed.

So now I'm in diagnostic mode to see if I'm loosing too much oil too fast. If my Q5 fails they told me audi will rebuild the motor. New internals. Complete overhaul.

Has anyone had the rebuild due to the recall?
Will I get a free loaner while it's being serviced?

Had my oil warning come on twice in the past few months.

what year and mileage is your Q? I'm also having an oil issue, but the cause it unknown.

I have a 2016 Sq5, after my 5k service the oil light has been coming on twice now..the first time, the dealer said they added too much oil. Second time, the light went away after I opened the oil cap to check. ..will see want the dealer says this Thursday.

The first version of the 2.0tfsi has a oil leakage issue.
This is due to some design error or excessive wear of the piston sealing rings.
The result is internal leakage and burning of a lot of oil.
