So I recently replaced my battery and have had no problems. I drove to an Amtrak station on Thursday to hop on a train to Chicago. I got back to my car last night and nothing on the car would come on: key fob wouldn't work, indoor lights wouldn't come on, engine wouldn't turn over. I got a jump from AAA and drove home with no problems. Turned the car off and back on and everything worked perfectly.
This morning, my roommate wakes me up and tells me I left my car lights on last night (I vividly remember turning them off). I go out to look and only the tail lights are on- no lights inside, no headlights, turn signals weren't left on, and headlight light switch on the dash board was switched to off.
Recently I have noticed that sometimes my left license plate light will come on and sometimes it won't.
So my questions are: Could these issues be related? Do you think it could be a short somewhere or possibly a loose connection?
Thanks
