    Thought this would be an interesting thread. It'll be pretty simple, post your best 0-60mph (100kph) time (not a factory quote, but what you personally have achieved), method of timing, engine, gearbox, whether your FrontTrak or Quattro, what performance mods you have, and if you want a pic of your car. Also if you have any comments about your pull you can put them there too. I'll kick things off...

    0-60mph- 9.8secs
    Timing Method- CT Speedometer app Lite for iOS
    Engine- AEB 1.8T
    Gearbox/drive- 5MT Quattro
    Mods- stock (though I have fitted kinda heavy 18" wheels)
    Pic-Coming Soon because Flickr is down...
    Comments- Thought I had an okay launch though it was from low revs, road wasn't perfectly flat and my wheels are a little heavy. I think If I improve my launching and shifting I can bring that time down a little bit.

    Also, although I'm sure you guys already know, stay safe on the streets and obey all traffic and road laws when attempting this stuff

    7.7 seconds. Reflect tuning stage 1. AEB Quattro. 2500rpm launch. Dunlop direzza tires with heavy wheels. Shifted at 5k. Timed using vcds timer.

    Timing: friends tab thing
    Engine: ATW 1.8T
    Mods - APR Carbonio, 42DD 3" turbo-back no cat, forge DV, F21 turbo kit, 550cc injectors, RA4 clutch kit, stage 1 tune, 21psi of boost
    Wheels: A8L W12 pieplates
    Comments: if I run my BBS RC 17", maybe will run low 6"s. But the A4 is a show car, and RCs are ugly. I'm running WCI wheels, so it might be different. Dunno know.

    That's interesting how it requires at least a stage 1 tune to achieve the factory claimed ~7.5 to 60. Either they had someone insanely good behind the wheel, or our cars have lost a lot of power over the years haha

    I'm horribly with luanching, because I rarely do. Good man behind my car with good wheels can probably 5-6. I rarely race. Just do a 2nd gear pull sometimes.

    Stock is like 7.8s, 1-2s less is decent I say

    Yeah, that's a decent improvement, I was just hoping that it would be achievable with only a stage 1 tune, but on a car 17 y/o car with well over 100k miles I guess that's pretty optimistic

    I agree, but I think 1-2 second faster is major. Any more, that's like getting to slow super cars (corvette, boxer, etc)

    I just like the sound and immediate torque curve.

    Hmm makes me think how I would do, made 250awhp on a Mustang dyno and running the 2.8 trans now I think I can hit 60 in 2nd. I suck at launching looks like I have a reason to try a few times. Maybe get ill get some login in this week.

    Yeah, personally the 6sec range is plenty quick, especially considering a 1999 boxster had similar performance back in the day.

    Launch higher. The stock clutch it pretty good, I was going up to 3500 or so sitting at stop lights. I was a bitch at the drags the one time I went becuase I didn't want to break something. I got a little more daring each time on the street though.

    Stock clutch would go before drive train. I guess I'll try dumping the fx400 6 puck I don't see it dying to fast.

    I tried with my Torque app and got 7.05 seconds. It was raining and I dumped it at 6-7k so I spun out for a long while, but I'm gonna try again with 'faster communication' selected. I don't think it started when I began moving. Or I'm just in denial ;) I'll try again if it's dry tomorrow.

    Somewhere in the mid-6's to 60 last time I measured it in the 93 octane map. 100 map will probably be low-6's. The shift out of first is around 7k. Shift from 2-3 at between 5.5k-6k.

    Ok tryed this 0-60 deal. I have never really launched the car after the build so I tryed 3 times and #1 was failed launch #2 I missed 2nd #3 I did ok and got there in about 6 flat ish I blame 90% on driver mod Im sure the car has more. I will try more later but with the snow coming this weekend I dont feel like messing anything up I want my Awd car running right. one other point I had the torque app running and at best it said 7.0 I think it lags.

    Here is the 3rd run. launch is somewhat fail and I shift way to soon from 1st to 2nd but looks like it goes by in about 6 (2.8 trans hits 60MPH at 6,600rmps)

    running 17 b6 sport wheels with snow tires not the best for anything but snow. just side note

    I'll give that a try next time I try a launch, I don't think I had any boost built up when I took off so I could probably shave a little bit off my time. We just got dumped on with snow though so IDK if I'll have the chance.

    I just did a couple 0-60 tests using VCDS and my best time was 7.7 seconds. 2.1 second 60'.
