Heat fluctuation doesn't blow anything at all

My heat meter fluctuates from max to min vise versa but there is almost no heat coming out of the vents. Anyone have an idea what this could be?

I have the same problem because my thermostat works intermittently. One thing that made mine a little better was flushing the heater core. I disconnected the heater core hoses, then hooked up a garden hose to one end, flushed it with low pressure, then hooked up the other side and did the same thing. To get a better idea, go on to YouTube and look up "heater core flush" it's pretty universal with all heater cores. Good luck!
