    I have no taillights on the rear hatch but the 3rd brake light works? Hatch is closed and the tail lights in the rear bumper are working

    Just giving you shit.
    You need to start checking stuff like fuses etc. voltage at the lights maybe?
    Maybe someone has a silver bullet for you. But you need to give us more than that to go on.

    check if the sensor on the latch is working. you have a sensor on the metal thing on the flook trunk, where latch attachs.

    basically it tells the car if the trunk is open, and if so, operates the lights on the bumper.
