Hello everyone, I am new to the site and still learning more about cars and general and had a question. I drive a 97 a4 b5 and my stock 1.8t engine is just well done and my question is does anyone know the best place I can look to purchase a built 1.8t to do a swap? Or any suggestions on a swap I should do?

If you have the money I think 034motorsport and Integrated Engineering sells some built blocks. You could also switch to the newer style engine 058 -> 06A.

If you can score a block from a junkyard, just get it tanked and bored and honed. You can buy a full forged kit from 034motorsport or even a stroker kit if you have tuning ready.

In my signature I have a build I did on my 97 Audi A4. I swapped the AEB to AWM block, kept my AEB head, forged pistons, (shoulda done forged rods while I was at it), and an AWM crank.
97 A4 1.8t: Reflect 650cc, T3 6063 turbo, turbo back exhaust & FMIC, top mount manifold, Apex lowering springs, 81.5mm bore, Supertech pistons, Eagle H beams
