Body guys, I pulled the mid door trims off that are taped on. How do I...?

Is there an easier way to remove the old double sided tape from the back of the trim than scraping it with a razor blade? I tried heating it, but it just gets gooey, and gets easier to slice into the plastic. Wondering if there is a product like goo gone or something that would take it off.
I'm guessing someone has done this here yeah?
    Thanks

Rubber eraser wheel. Most body shop supply stores carry them. Chuck it up in a drill and go to town
