It's really been a while since we've had some drool worthy pictures posted up in large numbers. Now I didn't title the thread Epic C5 Photo Thread, but the idea is the pictures would get our juices going.

Post up those pics you've had saved forever that made you want a C5 in the first place!

Literally first picture that made me want an allroad:

So....after rear aero wiper thread (of the month) we could give this one same attention or at least similar.
Could we all support our beloved C5 chassis or we gonna be worse clunkers then our 10+ year vehicles?
This section really seems dead,no more build threads,no more quality work/talk,no more good pictures flowing every day,almost every OG is gone.
Everyone who stops by is here for a quick fix or just to lurk around a bit.It's really boring!
I'm starting from myself first,I'm lazy as a cow and I keep promising to myself that I'll change that and it will happen soon as I have few things to share....
Literally like every other section is on fire,B8/8.5 kids are having fun all day long and boys and gals from B5 section are killing it...so maybe mods could close our section as we are so LAME!

I was a truck guy and while trying to talk my wife out of her sports car as our firstborn was on his way, I came upon these three images and I was hooked. We bought a 04 allroad blk 2.7 with 69k miles, then a 03 allroad cobalt blue 2.7 with 77k miles, and our most recent addition 05 allroad silver 4.2 with 133k.

What recaros do you have, Sportsters? If so would love to hear your experience with them. I'm ordering a set before the warm season.

I ordered a blank plate from germanplates.com Had a decal made of logo and that's it.

Seats was done by rsworx.com
Took 2 months for recaro to make seat mounts. Also they had to do some custom wiring so there is no airbag light. Not sure how it's done. I just wrote the check. smiling....

I'm digging it. How do you feel about the Sportsters with the suede inserts only coming with vinyl sides? I'm thinking full leather because the suede/vinyl combo.

Also my supplier sourced brackets from a third party, so thankfully no 2 month wait for those. Slider will be OEM Recaro though.

They real nice. The suede works better with my car. The whole interior is suede. I had the rear seats custom done in black suede with red diamond
stitches. Came out perfect. The vinyl is a very nice quality material. Full leather is very nice if that's what you want. Seats is comfortable, and I am a big guy and fit nicely in them. Good for it. Kinda expensive but great seats.

I collect mid-century furniture. $2k for a new chair is a bargain :) haha

I'm stuck. I have full alcantara interior now as well including handbrake, steering wheel, shift knob, headliner to go in and dash to be done. I kinda feel like I should do the seats too.

You should post a pic of those rear seats, they sound sweet.
