HID lights

I changed my HID passenger light last month and now it seems to have blown again. Is it normal for a HID to completely burst? (Glass everywhere inside the lense) and I was reading on this thread http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...7-HID-bulb-out And I believe it's the ballast. So my question is, has anyone used a VALEO aftermarket ballast before? And if so how did it stand up to the others? If no, what did you end up using?

that is NOT normal. Valeo is a reputable brand IMO. something is wrong somewhere.
