Front wheel drive Q3 purchase

Hey fellas

My mother had her fairly new Toyota rav4 totaled the other day...good thing she wasn't in it.

She was going to get another Rav4 but I advised her to look into the Q3. She doesnt need awd as lives in the San Francisco bay area and doesn't need nav either. How much of a discount can one get? 6%?

Discounts will vary depending on the dealership and who's running the sales desk that day. IME, SF Audi is the most aggressive on price, and I really enjoy dealing with them.

Has your Mom driven the Q3? If she liked her Toyota, there are a lot of reasons to stay with the brand. Features:dollar ratio, maintenance costs, insurance costs, etc. I know you're not asking for opinions here, but if my hunt was limited to a FWD, I'd probably stray from the Four Rings.

Thanks for the info. She may get another rav 4 but wanted something a little smaller and something with better visibility looking outward. She's only 4'11 so anything to help in that department is a plus.

My wife had a 2010 a4 prem plus fwd and she liked it a lot. So when the pinhead who rear ended her a4 totaled it a couple weeks ago, she wanted a new q3. So we got her a 16 q3 fwd. She wasn't really interested in the awd which from what I have researched is a haldex and not like my 15 s4 sport diff which is a torsen unit quattro. I prefer the torsen setup myself versus a haldex setup which is also what my 2011 Volvo s60 had (and a fwd bias). They call the q3 a quattro but some will say not really. Just my two cents. We did get a good deal on it.

I would say 6% is a good start. I wouldn't expect as good of a deal as an A3 though.

Thanks...I emailed my salesman from when I bought my A5.….he gave me one heck of a price my mother could not refuse. Way more than 6%.
