Question Everything is Fault Code - '13 Audi S4

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey everyone!

I got my CPO 2013 S4 the last week of November. Was ecstatic about the car and enjoyed the hell out of the first week. On the 8th day Philadelphia welcomed the car with a rear end collision by a trolley and since the car's been in a body shop repairing the damage to driver side suspension plus subframe, wheel, quarter panel and rear bumper. I got the car back yesterday and noticed a few things missing/not working.

    - Keyless entry not working. So when I'm at the door I can't unlock or lock the car by the door handle button or sensor.
    - Side assist not available. Going through MMI the option of side assist says it is currently unavailable.
    - Rear parking assist does not have audible tone when you get close to an object.
    - Hill assist is no longer working At hills I roll back without the second or two pause before the brakes disengage.
    - Certain FM channels are coming through with a lot of static and distortion.

I used my Carista app and dongle to run for fault codes and it mostly everything that has to do with the rear left side, the side the damage occurred. Check it out:

    *TL:DR -

So with my little knowledge of these fault codes is sounds like the shop either doesn't know how to follow a wire diagram or something else is missing/also damaged. I was reading a different forum post on Side Assist not working...

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...e-this-problem

...and forum member kdub mentioned that Side Assist won't work if a sensor is bad, which sounds plausible.

Anyone able to diagnose those codes better and come up with a scenario to all the faults? I'm sending the car back tomorrow and the shops going to take it to Audi.

    Thanks!

With that many faults, your best bet is to let Audi fix it. It sounds to me like the body shop has no idea how to work on Audi electronics. It's best to have someone that specializes in Audis (the dealership) fix a problem this extensive.

Did you by chance scan anytime before the accident?

It looks more like they unplugged or replaced a lot of things and it may just need to be programmed and/or cleared.

Luckily I overestimated the possibilities of what could be wrong and the shop hadn't reprogrammed everything. Thanks guys!

And they gave it to you that way without even letting you know? Wow. That is some serious B.S if that is how it went down, also speaks very negatively towards their work. Again if that's how they operate, you need to verify all of their work if possible.

Dakkath - That's what got me about the situation. It was a family friend's shop who does work with a local Audi Dealer. Body and all looks fantastic like nothing ever happened but it's those details that were missed that assures I won't pass along the name.
