Is it possible to upgrade my headlights to the full led matrix on my C7.5?

    Hey guys
The salesman screwed me over ... He clearly didn't know his stuff smh
I got the 2016 A6 2.0T and told the salesman I wanted the full led headlights .. he said I can only get them with the 3.0 or better models , I questioned him and he was certain it couldn't be done .
Weeks later I spotted a new C7.5 2.0t with full led headlights , I was upset to say the least ..
So my question is : Can I upgrade to the full led matrix headlights and if so would it be plug and play .. would I have to change the harness , mess with the VAG / MMI ,change hardware ?
Any help would be highly appreciated

LED headlights in the US aren't matrix -- just full LED. There have been C7 guys who have swapped to LED. As I understand it, it's definitely possible, but does involve some extra modules & coding.

I'm surprised, but did confirm that the 2.0T premium plus w/s-line does have the option for LEDs. Did you order the Premium Plus? Best of luck on your light conversion!

When I looked into it, they guys were saying you need a different harness which was quite spendy, before even getting to the headlights, modules and fans required. I heard a silly number of like $8K in parts and squashed the idea. If this isn't the case, I'm up for hearing how we can do it as I want the full LED option too.
Do it right, or don't bother.
