Snowbird and Brighton are the best, the Canyons is also really good. Park City is good, but all about the tourists, the locals all ride at Brighton first with Snowbird and the Canyons following behind.
utah is pretty good. you can't beat the proximity of the slopes to the airport. i've timed myself, from when i literally stepped off the plane to when i'm in the chairlift line is 45minutes.
altho, jackson hole is starting to get to that level of proximity. (and will beat utah in another year or 2). they renovated/rebuilt their airport. and more and more airlines are now offering directs.
i've been to JH a number of times. it really only a mountain for intermediate advanced to expert/pro level riders. they don't rope off cliffs and expose chutes (neuter) inbounds terrain. you WILL fuck yourself up if you don't know what you are doing. i never really have to worry about noobs plowing into me because everyone on the mountain knows what they're doing.
