    Questions regarding 19" alloys?

    I've just bought a secondhand set of OEM 9x19" ET33 Peelers. Two questions I have are:

    1. What tyre pressure should I use?
    2. Will I need to buy longer bolts or will the original ones for the OEM 18" alloys be okay?

    Maximum tire pressure is on the side of the tire, but I think OEM is like 35psi? I believe the same bolts should work. Rule of thumb is to have 4 threads in the wheel hub.

    Thanks for the reply JDillon15. With regards to tyre pressure, I was wondering what people, who were running 19" alloys, set them to.

    Always use the tire pressure listed on the door jamb (when using the OEM spec tires). NEVER use the tire pressure on the sidewall - that value has nothing to do with the car - it is only the tire's maximum. For your application, use 42F, 38R to closely match load carrying capacity of the OEM tires. Regarding the bolts, you likely will not need new ones, but to check, count the threads the OEM bolts grab with the OEM wheels. Your 19's should grab the same number of threads.     40-45 psi should be just fine for 19s on our cars. I think I run 40. If you're taking it to the track on them, which you shouldn't be on 19" wheels, you're gonna want to closely monitor the pressure after every session. Otherwise, just buy good tires... or tyres haha and you'll be set to roll!
