    Angry Guess this sound....

Ever since I've dropped my car on intrax sport springs, i've gotten this wierd whoomp/clunk noise. It is very hard to describe. It's only when the wheels are turned all the way either way (like turning in or backing out of a parking spot).
Now...it really doesn't sound anything like rubbing (plus there is really no way I should be rubbing, i'm running 19's with 235/35's, et 35, and a mild drop). The sound almost sounds like its coming from under the hood or near the firewall, not from the wheel wheels. It's also not anything like the metal on metal ticking sound that was the bad wheel bearings I previously had. Any thoughts?

Sounds like when you removed the shocks to put on the front springs you didn't compress the spring all the way and tighten the bolt on top of the shock completely...does it make a clunk sound when you go over bumps? That is what was wrong with mine.

Yeah you didn't tighten the top nut all the way. been there done that. I hated that noise. Another thing I did was spray thing suspension down white lubricate, just to see if it helped... Never have heard that nosie again.
