Question Anyone recommend non flicker LED sidelight bulbs (501)

    Hi all.

After many purchases of 501 bulbs that are apparently flicker/error free I still don't have a pair that work as they should do. Can anyone recommend LED 501 type bulbs for use as side lights that don't flicker.

Links to where you purchased yours will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I run these with some resistors

They are very bright and work flawlessly.

Thanks JacksA4. What resistors did you use and did you just connect them in the positive feed?

Yeah I just bridged the two wires with the resistor essentially.

I used these guys, either one or two per side (i forget): http://www.ebay.com/itm/200-Ohm-5-2-...wcU-BtgyLpqzNQ

Has worked flawlessly for the last 3 years

Just found a perfect solution to this if anyone else is having the same issues.

Bought a pair of plug n play in-line resistors and some regular 5000k LED 501 bulbs from eBay. Took all of 2 minutes to connect and install and they work perfectly!! No flicker and no dash warning. Sorted!!

Both items were shipped from here in the UK so arrived in a couple of days.
