So I recently bought an Audi A4 and it was running pretty good (other than upon start up it would almost die so I'd have to rev it up a little bit and then it would idle properly) and when I was accelerating at highway speed it was bogging down a little bit and almost bucking. I left it at the shop where I work and took the company truck up to work, came back 4 days later and it would not start. The car was cranking at regular speed so the battery is fine. I did some research and replaced the fuel pump relay but still no start. So that night I did a little bit more research and it looked like it was the crank position sensor so I also replaced that but still no start. The fuel pump is good because I cracked the fuel line right by the injectors and when the car was cranking there was fuel spraying out and it looked like it had lots of pressure. I'm not getting the immobiliser warning light so I am at a total loss for what to do next. Tomorrow my friend who has a vag-com is coming with me to scan it, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Ideas would be very much appreciated, thanks! Getting tired of driving to Rocky Mountain House and not coming back with my new car!
