Hi Everyone , I'm new here.
I got the same problem here. The p310b 008 keep popping up.

Changed the g410, fuel filter , cam follower and the problem persist, but car drive ok, only under WOT sometimes it hesitated.

So I changed the lpfp. Guess what the problem.
My car just shut off under low throttle when its hot.
Need to wait for about 20-30minutes before it can be started again.
It will crank but the car will shake and died a couple seconds after.
Call Europaparts since I bought the lpfp from them, they say its not defective.

Pump duty cycle was 67% befor the lpfp change, now is arround 80-85%. So,it looks like overheating lpfp.

Check all the lines and connector, all is good.

    Can anyone help?
    It's after the lpfp

That could be a bad LPFP....When you installed it did you notice any stickers or anything of that sort on the bottom of the basket? If there was one and it got left on it would definitely cause the duty cycle to be that high

Talk to Hugh@europaparts too, he said the fuel pump is not defective.

    Can somebody help here?
    Will be much appreciated

The fuel pump controller may be bad. Do you have a data log with pump duty cycle and fuel system pressure?

I'll check which measuring blocks to choose when I'm home later today. The fuel pump controller could be faulty and causing low fuel pressure.

Measuring block 103-1 shows the presure of the low pressure fuel system

I've read that the pump controller can burn out a pump if it overworks it. You can try a multimeter test on them - here is a link with some information on it.

(Also, if you happen to be doing some logging, I don't suppose you could help me with a test when you have some time - basically I would like to know if you disconnect your MAF and run the car for say 30 mins on a drive, if the LTFT goes up, down or doesn't change - I've got a thread on this here)

I would love to help with the MAF once my car running.

I just reopened my lpfp to see if there are any piched lines, guess what, I messed up the snap connector when I did it.
Now the fuel is spilling up when I turn the ignition key. Need to wait another 1-2 days till I get the new line from The dealer.
Is it anyway possible to check the module without running the engine?

Fixed it today, eventually the sender line that europaparts send was oriented differently from the original. May car is fwd, so this might help someone with fwd b7 who want to attempt fuel pump DIY. Thanks for those who replied.

Hindsight's always twenty/twenty, but you should always give a Vin and trans when you buy parts. The quattro and fwd have two different pumps. Glad you got it fixed.

Yes I bought the fwd one with VIN matched.
    Then I read this
    http://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b...t-how-2883859/
And got it sorted out after. The old pump was superseeded by new parts under different part number with different oriented sender line.
