Tarox Performance Brakes- Now available at New German Performance

We are excited to announce the addition of another performance brand to our lineup. Celebrating its 40th year in 2016, Tarox Performance Brakes offer high-performance, multi-piston brake kit solutions, as well as performance rotors and pad upgrades for OEM applications.



The higher-than-typical piston count found on Tarox kits translate to excellent brake pedal modulation and low-speed braking feel, this also allows for a slimmer caliper profile for better wheel clearance.


Tarox brake rotors are available in a number of surface finishes to suit your desired style or application. Also, all Tarox rotors are heat treated and hand finished for an ultimately flat surface. Brake pad compounds are offered to road, track day, and full race use. Lastly, custom caliper colors are available for all big brake systems.

They could have designed their logo better. It just looks like it was slapped on from a piece of paper that somebody wrote on. Other than that, slim is good! Does this mean they weigh less than most other BBKs?

I have passed your questions on to my Tarox contact and should have answers for your shortly. I can tell you that the calipers are in machined from billet, the rest will come shortly.

I just heard back from my Tarox rep, and have details for you (this will speak specifically to kit KMAU0917, an 8-piston kit with 360x30mm rotors.

- Piston diameters for each bank (two banks per caliper) are 26mm, 31mm, 31mm, 26mm
- With regards to a rebuilt kit- The O-rings are not something supplied separately. Rather, they would supply new pistons, with O-rings if the caliper ever needed to be rebuilt. Pricing for the 8-piston set needed for this kit is $256 for everything (16 pistons).
