So, I'm about to buy an S6 but been curious on S7's and RS7's - I found this beast around the corner from my place - so, how is it even possible to have only 63 miles and it's a '14? - the price seems ridiculous as well - I would have 500-1000 miles on it the first weekend.

There was a guy on CL selling one because he bought two, that looks like it may be the car.

This was on autotrader well over a year by a private seller in Bend. He must have traded it in to that dealer.

I saw that ad too, figured something fishy was going on because who does that? If it's at park place now, it's very likely legit. Weird.

Looks amazing in the misano red. Anybody have a feel on how reasonable that asking price is?

That price for a pre face-lift '14 is ludicrous - max I think would be in the low 90's...

Agree. Way overpriced. This isn't a collector car.. and it's only two years old, not 10-20. It's just a dealership trying to make a buck. They probably bought the car from the seller for 80-85.

I'm guessing this was a test driven new car. A lot of dealerships will list it as a used car if it is a year or so older just to place it on a different list (Used vs. new). It's probably not been titled to an individual owner yet.
2014 S6 Prestige. Ninja Black on black, Revo ECU Stage 1, but a few bug splats
2012 Q7 Prestige S-Line. Grey. Custom Costco scratches on the rear bumper
2010 Ford Two-Fiddy. White most of the time

A few weeks ago I test drove a 2016 S7 that the dealership's GM had been driving. It has 2400 miles on it. Yesterday the salesman emailed me to bs about some stuff and I asked him what they wanted for it. He called me back a bit later and said basically for '16 models with mileage on them they subtract a quarter a mile off the msrp or something, so they would basically discount it $600 for the 2400 miles. I basically asked him if he was on crack.

Does this sound nuts to anyone else? It almost makes me not want to even remain loyal to them for expecting me to believe nonsense like that...

LOL, no not at all. I got my RS7 with 2200 miles on it for about 16k off MSRP.

Right, but I am sure what they'll say is that this vehicle has not been sold and traded back, whereas yours was. Not that there is any difference logically whether a regular person purchases a car and sells it back to them versus their GM tooling around in it for awhile, but I am sure that will be their response.

It really rubbed me the wrong way that they would actually expect me to buy that.

Yeah, I get that it hasn't been titled, but as far as you--the end user/buyer--is concerned, there's absolutely no difference (you know obv). I'd almost feel better with how an owner of a vehicle would treat their new "baby" than 40 different people test driving and launching behind the dealership.

My S4 was this exact scenario. Listed as used because it was titled to the dealer during the 6 months the GM drove it. 1500 miles, 12k off msrp.

Yeah except 1500 miles at $0.25 each is only a $375 discount, which is 1/32 of your posted $12k discount! Iamshack, I would tell them to get real!
