Any 2.7 will take well over 300bhp.

I don't think there are any stage 1 tunes for the 2.7t that make less than 300bhp.

    Touche.
Its only as i am going to swap it and use it daily. I figured 300bhp was a good start.

bone stock block is good to 400hp, built is good to 600HP, after that its a little touch and go.

I would say it's a bit more than that. Lots of ~450whp cars out there on the stock motor.

400 is probably a good number if you want a large safety margin.

    All Over!

When doing a swap, it is ALWAYS better to get the motor running in stock guise FIRST. You start running tunes before you're all done, IF the engine doesn't run right in an alien chassis, you'll find it more difficult to troubleshoot.

You wouldn't know if the issues are as a result of something YOU'VE overlooked during the swap, or a bad tune.

My advise? Try walking BEFORE you can run. It's not a difficult swap, but every swap has it's bugs to iron out. Baby steps, you're still way off completion - you haven't even got a donor car yet.
