    Question Lack of heat

Hey Audizine, I've been a lurker and finally decided to make an account. I'm having some trouble with my heat, it takes way too long to heat up. I blasted the heater core with water before the winter started and it seemed to be running alright, but now that it's actually cold out it's taking awhile to heat up again. Any ideas on what to do? I've let it run for awhile with the cap off and there doesn't seem to be any air in the system, but I could be mistaken.

    Thanks!

I would try to bleed the system from the heater core return pipe. Also, scan the HVAC module with VCDS, as it's possible that your temperature control flap motors are stuck in one position, not allowing it to blow full heat.

If that all doesnt work. look at replacing the heater core. Not a hard job and more then likely its is clogged up with junk. This is the video I took of the old one in my wife's car. It still seemed to flow fine when I was flushing it but I could never get any heat out of it.
