My son and I replaced the 2.0 liter motor in his '06 A4 Quattro with a 2.0 liter from an '07 A4. The turbo is also new. Since then the idle is really bad and the motor makes no power at highway speeds. The ECM is throwing codes of P0171 Bank 1 Lean, P0300 Random misfire, P0301 Cyl 1 misfire, P0302 Cyl 2 Misfire, P0304 Cyl 4 misfire. there was an evap leak code which has not shown up in a while.

I changed the N Valve and I still have the same issue with the idle. Everything that I read pointed to the N Valve. This does not seem to have helped. Does anyone have any experieence with this issue? Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. This car has been nonfunctional for a year now.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

I would check the fuel rail pressure sensor part number from the old motor to the new one. I think they changed it that year.
