Hi,
I have a 2014 A4 Prestige S-Line with 19" wheels & 255/35/19 tires. (Car is a very pretty Scuba Blue, special order and totally worth the wait!!!)
When the car was new I put on Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS All Season tires. They seem great, but on recent service found that they are cupping due to mis-alignment (my bad for not checking that sooner) and now need to replace them.
In general I've been happy with the Bridgstone, but they do tend to be noisy and give the car a bit of a harsh ride (have also gotten what seems like more than my share of flats from small nails, etc. 5 in 20,000 miles, but that could just be bad luck)
Read plenty of pro's and con's about the RE970AS vs the Continental DWS06 in the past, but thought I would toss this out to the community to see if anyone has any experience or suggestions about sticking with Bridgestone vs moving to the Continentals. (Price is exactly the same!). Driving is mostly in Northern California and Pacific NW, plenty of rain, very rarely snow. Would love something a little smoother and quieter if possible.
Many thanks.
