I want CES last week and I checked out the Audi booth to see what new. I got a tour around the B9 A4 I asked the rep who was straight from Germany if there would be a MT option. He said "yes, I am surprised becase you are the 3rd person to ask me and I thought people in America don't like MT" I also asked if the s4 will have MT option he also confirmed.

Everything I heard until that point was point at no MT option, but now from what he said idk

He is correct, there is a MT option in Europe and the rest of the world, just not US / Canada. We just get the 7-speed automatic.

The A4 was announced with MT and is available as such outside North America, but only in FWD configuration. The S4 is not available with MT anywhere, so not sure what he is talking about.
