2017 Infiniti Q60

I actually like the interior design over the 2017 A4 (assuming A5 will be similar). I may have to look at one when it comes time to trade.

At first blush, 400 hp TT engine sounds pretty compelling. Looks pretty nice too, although I'm sure others will disagree with that sentiment. Will reserve judgment until price info is out.

Yeah so it would be positing in a fairly unique segment since it is more expensive than M4, RS5, C63, but less than M6, Type F etc.

I don't disagree. I think the power AND the looks are compelling. And if Audi goes the same route with the B9 S5 that they went with the B9 A4 it will be on my shopping list.

That Q60's interior leaves a ton to be desired, IMO. It reminds me of a Chevy or the like with that center stack and shifter design. Even with the stupid iPad-like MMI display stuck to the dash, the S4 interior blows it away. My $0.02

I agree about the interior. However, at the right price, I could look past that given the other positive aspects of the car.

Agreed on the interior. I've had a couple of Infiniti's and the fit and finish doesn't come close to my S5. They may look nice in pics but the materials leave a lot to be desired IMHO.

I got to thinking. I wonder if someone could come up with like a plastic cover to make the MMI screen look more integrated into the dash? That is the only thing that bugs me about the new A4 interior.

Audi lost me already, but they would have done it with the new interior anyway... Inifiniti interior is pretty nice IMO.

I have no complaints with the interior of the FX we have. Nothing ill-fitting, or low quality to be found.

If any of you actually test the Q60, be sure to run the infotainment system through it's paces. I drove multiple Q50's (every trim and package combo imaginable, basically) and what drove me insane was the delayed response.

It's like they got the software well enough, but it was lacking CPU and RAM to function smoothly. The more I asked of it, the more it slowed down. Couldn't live with it.

100%. I loved my G35, knowing full well it's interior was average for the time (seats were amazing though). I was excited to get into a G37 - photos look great but when you actually sat in it it was total shit. Infinitis always look good in pics but underwhelm in person - and this one doesn't even look good on paper imo.

I find Audis the opposite - was never a fan reading car mags but then my friends started buying them and I was hooked first time I sat in one.
