Get a switch from the yard with a pig tail. Using wire taps connect all wires from the pig tail to the headlight harness by color code except pin 7. Connect pin 7 to pin 24 of the 32 pin connector or J519 with a 009 repair wire. Code via vagcom.

Yes using oem parts, I know some people retrofited the oem rear parking aid and homelink. Two retrofits I have to source and link.

My gf is 5'6" and I'm 6'1", could'nt live without it too. Still have to take two minutes to adapt the module to my car, it keeps forgeting my gf's key fob. At least, it remembers my key fob and this mod is awesome, unlock doors and as soon as you open it, it places your seat according to the memory position you assigned that fob

Not really an oem retrofit but this is probably my favorite mod on my b7, the morimoto mini h1 retrofit is a great option for people who want the bixenon function/look for cheaper than oem bixenons

Pic of the chrome RNS-E buttons? :)

Well the A3/TT buttons everyone uses look like these :


Here's how it looks at night when un-modded, modding them requires cutting your oem button and the chrome buttons will never be as bright as one an other (And modding them is a pita) :




Here's how the oem A4/S4/RS4 RNS-E buttons look like, notice the bottom of the power/volume button has a ring on it but the A3/TT version doesnt.



Plus on these you can switch the spring from your stock mode button to the chrome button and it will actually stay in place as opposed to the A3 that you have to be carefull when using it.

I kno I'm not axis or anything but I don't believe so lol. My friends 08 titanium s-line is a true base model lol. No coming home feature, no home link, no bi-xenons, no color DIS, no nothing. But he does have a 6 speed manual transmission and is quattro lol

I haven't really checked mine but so far I went to an Audi dealer and said my car was a base model being thought it has that comming home thing and the dip the home link the bixenon. Dis?

Is there a DIY on retrofitting a passenger power seat? I don't need heating or memory. I just want to swap my manual passenger seat with the power equivalent. Is it as simple as swapping the seat and using a special wiring harness? I was searching and found this thread and thought it would be a good place to start. Thanks

Pull passenger kick panel, replace 10amp fuse with 30amp. Put an electric passenger seat. Enjoy.

Is there a documented retrofit for automatic or at a minimum speed sensitive windshield wipers? I had automatic wipers on my 03' GTI VR6 and loved the feature.

Last I looked into it the required parts were (according to a Russian translated forum):

Automatic headlight switch
Rear view mirror with light sensor (I have the 6 wire auto dimming mirror)
Coming home light module
Rain sensor built into windsheild

Has anyone pulled this off? I know VW has rain sensors from other vehicles that are less expensive then sourcing an entire windshield from overseas.
