    Script error? Daily occurrence

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
For the past month or so I have been experiencing a script error of some sort when viewing the forum on Firefox. It happens on my PC and my Mac. The symptom is that the page seems to freeze up - can't scroll, can't type - and then a box pops up saying that there is a script error or some such thing, giving me the options to Continue, Debug or Stop the script. No matter which one I click, nothing happens and the page remains frozen. I have to go to Task Manager and end Firefox (or do a Force Quit on Mac) to get out of it. I tried to copy the text of the error message box to paste here, but it did not let me copy+paste. In the error box it shows a google.adclick.etc etc etc URL as the source of the problem script, so I surmise that the paid sponsor advertisements are actually detracting from the forum experience for me.

Has anyone else noticed this recently?

We haven't personally seen this exact issue, nor have there been any other reports regarding it. Please try to get us a screenshot if possible, and either post here or email it to: [email protected]

    Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. As luck has it, I have not experienced the issue again today, but next time it occurs I will do my best to grab a screen shot and post it here.

The same "unresponsive script" error just cropped up again and I was able to get a screenshot of it. See below.
For whatever it's worth, it seems to happen most commonly (if not exclusively) when I see the speaker icon up in the browser tab, indicating that there is an advertisement playing sound. This is the case in the screenshot posted below.
