So my A4 will be hitting 100K miles soon. and it runs perfect. but i want to go thru it and do some preventive maintenance. any recommendations ?? I live in the frozen tundra of upstate NY. I basically want to make this car a bullet proof for winter as it is a daily driver.

I have 100k on my 2009 A4 sedan b8. I just replaced the piston and rings under warranty then had the timing chain replaced at same time (my expense because they fail often and blow the engine as a result 4-8k repair. I changed air filters, spark plugs, transmission fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, power steering fluid. The suspension needed all 8 control arms replaced. Top and bottom 2 each both sides. The shocks needed to be replaced front and rear. The engine mounts needed replacement. I also replaced the transmission mount. It was bad yet but I didn't want to revisit after doing all this work. I also replaced the power steering lines but I had a low judder in the steering wheel when turning at low speed. Replacing the lines fixed it. Not cheap fixes but the car is brand new!! It drives better than most new cars. If you want another 100k SPEND THE MONEY... sorry for the caps but these cars will fail if you don't and you will have to spend it anyway. Do all the maintenance and you won't have to buy a new car you will get to keep the one you have.
