    headlight bulb replacement

I have a passenger side headlight bulb that is beginning to fail (dim/flickers). Does anyone have any suggestions for replacements? Also has anyone replaced theirs? Is it easier to remove the entire headlamp unit to swap bulbs or fiddle with the little room available under the hood?

    thanks for any info!

    I just did this.
I did it without removing the entire lamp because the whole bumper has to come of.
Go for a standard philips or osram bulb, Audi comes with philips as standard.
The most tricky part is the locking mechanism, but this can be studied on youtube (same as for Q7).
it is EXTREMELY important that you DO NOT touch the glass of the bulb, cause it will causing the glass to melt due to increased temperature when exposed to grease.
A good tip is to use disposable gloves.
