homelink range reduced in the cold

So, I've been observing an interesting phenomenon. For some reason when the temperature is less than 40, particularly under 35* my range of working my garage door opener is greatly reduced. Before I could open the door from 200 feet from my driveway. in the low temps described above I can't even make it register at the end of my short driveway. I can be no more than just outside the garage door for it to work. Tested on my F150 and my Audi TT and no change in their distance, just the S4. Any insight?

I have issues with mine at any distance and any temp. I could be sitting in front of the door and it still won't open. Seems like it doesn't want to work for a week then works great a fair amount of time. I can't get it to open no more than 75ft ever.

That's weird, my range gets longer in colder temps and shorter when hot. Same with my Infiniti.

Odd. I haven't noticed any change in homelink range with the cold (it's about 20 degrees here).

This for me too. I have moved mine a little bit but its still near where it was originally. Im trying to tie it to my phone somehow since I have smartthings hub.

I was going to reprogram it, but since the range changes with te temp i dont think it will help. maybe i'll add it to button two and see if it makes a difference. might also elongate the antenna to see if it might help. sucks nobody else is seeing it. I was hoping for a potential fix.

OP funny you mention this. I too noticed the distance decreases. I have to be in my driveway now for it to work. no issues with my yukon

Hm, seems the same for mine no matter the temps.
