    Couple questions...

    1. So I'm certain I read that the stock tcu shifts at 6200-6250rpm, but I've noticed mine shifts at 7,000rpm and is stock as far as I know. Am I wrong?

    2. I've noticed most s4's lower front lip spoilers are the same color as the car, but on mine it's black on the driver /passenger side. Is that normal for a 2011?

    The front lip has been painted. Might be plastidip which is a rubber paint you can peel off.
    The shift point seems like it may be an aftermarket tune. Someone else with an auto trans may be able to chime in further.

    Couple questions...

    Yea that's what I was thinking, but haven't really tried removing it yet.

    The weird thing is that the car seemed 100% stock...not lowered, not tinted, stock air box didn't appear to have been removed before, etc. It's a low mileage, fully optioned prestige if that matters, which it shouldn't.

    do a quick 0-60 and you will know if it's tuned or not.

    The black paint on the bumper looks like Plastidip. If it is, you could just peel it off. I would guess they may have been hiding some minor damage or rock chips.

    It feels quick, but I'm used to my caddy so my opinion is jaded lol. Actually when I use the launch control it leaves at 2750rpm...don't know what he stock setup is. Anyone know what the stock pulley measures?

    Pulley sizes are in the thread linked below, but it'd be really hard to accurately measure with the belt on.

    The easiest way to tell if you car is tuned is to log it, and see if the bypass valve stays shut.

    mine is 2010 stock TCU.
    Mine shifts around ~7k when floored.
    interior and license plate LED lights, E-code headlights with 6000k bulbs, AWE catback, H&R OE springs, APR Stage 2, 19" BBS RGR (summer), stock 18" with 15mm and 20mm spacers (winter), carbonio intake, lots of VAG mods, 35% tints all around, lots of road rash, 034 transmission mount insert, SPC ACS, Spulen rear diff mount, Bilstein sport shocks, CR-15 strut brace bar

    Thanks for the input fellas! So that's actually a bonus that the 10-12's have a 7k shift point if you plan on doing a stage 2 (cw) and want to remain undetected. I'll pull a log once I receive my vag cable.
