Automatic door lock button working inconsistantly

I've noticed that the little area on the handle where you put your finger to lock your doors on my 2013 A7 doesn't always work. I'm up in Minnesota and it's really cold right now, so I'm wondering if that could be the reason.

Same here in Norway now that it's cold, had the same last winter.

Definitely cold related. Happens to me every winter. Comfort access also doesn't always work if it is too cold. When the temps warm up, all is well again.
