Hey guys, just had a quick question. I noticed that The bushing that was included in my air lift kit is completely different from what they have on their website. My install manual is also completely different.

    My bushing:

Airlift's bushing listed on their install manual on the website. Updated bushing??? :

As you can see the other bushing is much larger like a hockey puck, where mine is quite small.

For those who are running, air lift performance fronts, Which bushing do you have? I am experiencing extreme amounts of knocking which i am 99% sure is coming from the upper mount where the bushing is. My car isn't drivable because of it.

It looks like the bushing is being squished when under load and is creating a gap in the strut and the upper strut mount causing knocking.

Have you tried contacting them? I'm sure they can explain it. Not sure if the pics are generic or not. I've gotten less than generic instructions for suspension before.

So have they finally ditched the stupid little rubber bush and gone for a proper top mount now? I've already destroyed two sets of the old style so looks like I'll need to source these new ones.

The bushings you have are the old style that were originally used. Look in the air suspension thread and you will see how these fail often and need to be replaced. I know airlift was working on a new design after people blasted them with failing bushings. Glad to see they re-did the design and are sending you the new ones. To answer your original question, those are still the correct ones if you wanted to use until the new style arrives.
