    B7 Air lift struts knocking.

hey guys, I am having issues with my front struts on my b7 a4.

i just installed a new set of air lift performance front struts on my car and on my test drive, I am experiencing extreme amounts of knocking from both struts. So much knocking that i couldn't go above 20kph.

I drove it into the garage and did a once over of everything. everything seemed ok.

I am guessing the knocking is coming from the upper shock mount/bushing. But i was sure to tighten it to correct spec. The knocking is occurring at all heights.

From a quick google it seems like guys are using washers or a thicker bushing to correct the knocking?

Any help would be great thanks.

I suppose i should have just posted in the thread below mine: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...failures/page3

Just did some quick research and it looks like airlift made un updated bushing, because the one i curently have is prone to failing/knocking.

My bushing is a little skinny and flexible one in the photo above, whereas the new bushing is almost the size of a hockey puck and looks much more durable. I messaged airlift, hopefully they can send me a proper bushing.

I looked online and it looks like they changed the install manual too. Mine looks nothing what they have on the website.
