well I'm guessing in no particular order,

- no 3rd pedal
- no performance engine
- no diesle

if they bring it to the US? it's probably just me but Audi is not offering anything right now (beyond the old cars, cars that are not available in the US, and maybe an R8) that I really want to own.

I'd say above all of those, the lack of an adjustable air suspension - like the C5, C6, C7 allroads, is what's the saddest thing about it.

^^ nice, that is good to know. I just guessed with Audi's usual ability to not give the US market all the enthusiast vehicles I figured they wouldn't bring a diesel here.

People are gonna bag them anyways so why not just sell non-allroad B9 avants here? I mean nobody who's buying a wagon wants taller wagons that are almost SUV's.

Being the A4 Allroad, it has never had air suspension, so no surprise there.

Audi did move the A6 allroad upmarket a bit I think, the base model C7 is more in line with pricing of the fully loaded C5 when it was in the US, adjusted for inflation.

That goes with the introduction of the A4 allroad to fill the gap downmarket.

I recall that Audi wagon sales in the US doubled when they went from the B8 Avant to the B8.5 Allroad. Go figure, people apparently do like the taller 'almost SUV' wagon. I still think many people view Avants negatively as 'station wagons' whereas an Allroad is viewed as an 'off-road almost SUV wagon'...and you know the US loves SUVs.

I still think many people view Avants negatively as 'station wagons' whereas an Allroad is viewed as an 'off-road almost SUV wagon'...and you know the US loves SUVs.

It's probably the enthusiast who have been picking them up, as soon as we started seeing moded AR's, a lot of people jumped on them. I hardly ever see any stock AR's, at least in my neck of the woods.

I haven't seen a single modded allroad where I'm from. It's mostly old folks putting around new england in theirs.
