Wouldn't that blow up the engine? Where/how would the over boost relief come from then?

well a lot of us are trying to get more boost I don't think we could possibly spin these charger to the psi to actually blow this motor up.
me and a few others are on dual pulleys now and boost levels are not crazy high from what ive loged . the problem is the bypass valve is opening up top when we don't want it to.

There are definitely times when you want the bypass to open under boost, and you'd run into several faults related to keeping the bypass shut when the ECU is trying to open it. You're a lot better off just waiting for the tuning to catch up with the dual pulley setup. Every major tuner seems to be working on it (not sure on Revo).

Yep, what Jran said. If you are that eager, experiment with the chiperwerke lol. bhvdr seems to think you should be able to keep it shut with that... I'm going to wait and hope APR is willing to let me run the tune come spring. If that doesn't happen I'll explore other options...

I'm really looking forward to what @andthen runs this week.. Think he mentioned going to the strip on saturday. Tony's cooking up some potentially good stuff at EPL from what I've seen. E85 and dual pulley, should be interesting!

So far the chances of rain have bounced around from 60-90% and now down to 20%. The track has posted that the event will be pushed to the following Saturday if this is the case. Still trying to perfect the tune. And I'm not sure if I'll have the cooling system installed by then or not. But if the weather is good I'm running it.
