Ordered the reverse lights - it is super dark where I live and the backup camera doesn't do much good at night with the low output reverse lights. Looking forward to the upgrade.

It's correct. Incandescent lights will have whiter "flash" but the LED's are much more rich in color. Unfortunately the camera picks up white light more than anything else so in a freeze frame the factory turn signal would appear to be brighter.

YEP!

They switch lanes 80% of the time. There are some hardcore troopers that will still ride you though.

These are specifically for B8.5 or face lift vehicles. If installed on a pre-face lift vehicle you may get errors or have to do coding.

For B8.5/facelift vehicles these are plug n play meaning you just swap out your old bulbs for these and you're good to go.

Just ordered a set of these and read in the reviews the front indicator bulbs have to be trimmed to fit. Is this true for the B8.5 cars or did the reviewers just not have the proper vehicle and blame ECS? I definitely don't want to be modifying a near $50 set of bulbs for my 2015 S4

I reviewed them on ECS and have a B8.5- they didn't fit (plug and play) and needed trimmed. After trimming they did fit and functioned fine, but unless ECS has revised them they definitely weren't plug and play.

Thanks for the speedy response. I'll report back into this thread my findings when I get the bulbs for my 2015 to clear up the record for future "searchers" reading this.

Here is a picture showing the post I had to trim. I pushed extremely hard, I wiggled, I angled, I couldn't get them to insert into the socket until taking a razor blade to them and trimming the post. I've purchased tons of products from you guys and never had an issue, possibly just a small bad batch of the early ones? I was probably one of the 1st people to order them.

Hmm definitely seems like an imperfection in the plastic molding. Very well could be from a bad batch. I'm sure if you give CS a call we'd be happy to issue another set that doesn't need trimming.

We've fitted a few sets into our vehicle hassle free, so they are definitely made for the vehicle.

Just received mine today. Having the same issue. One half of the plastic isn't notched the same as the OEM piece. Quite disappointing for nearly at $44.95 for the set! I'm afraid to mess up the LED , please advise

The notch is basically a mirror image of what it should be on the one side. I'll see if I can post a side by side.

I specifically asked on here because of what the reviews said and felt encouraged by ECS's response on here about using them on their own cars without and issue and maybe it being an early batch. I left a negative review myself on the site about it. talking to customer service now. going to try to return them and get a refund. thoroughly disappointed.

Well I can say that ECS customer service is definitely a redeeming factor here. Refunded me for the indicator bulbs. They don't want them back either. and since this has been a recurring issue with other people they all have the Audi design team take a look at it to fix the problem. Doesn't solve my bulb issue but they made me whole and that's great
