    The dealer still wants $44k for it too?! Don't worry, the dealer has this note to make buyers feel more comfortable, "As a used car dealership we do not buy or sell collision vehicles, we specialize in buying and selling vehicles paid off in insurance claims due to water related incidents or recovered theft with little to no damage. Our vehicles are the opposite extreme of what most consumers have seen in the media."

    Yeah I would never buy a car with salvaged title, odometer issues, and theft issues for that price. More like 15k ha. If you click the carfax button on website it does nothing.

    I would stay away from that. Even if you buy it, and try to resale it, you will never get the value. I had a infiniti FX50S, during a the state inspection the tech entered the wrong mileage and i took a 5k bath.

    How many miles would a thief really put on a stolen vehicle in 2 months? Lol, It was prbably getting chopped for parts instead.

    Haha did you know it already had issues when you asked? This vehicle report is almost too good to be true. If this is real, that dealer is a straight savage.

    From my experience, Autocheck has been more thorough and more inclusive with information than Carfax.

    Also, just because an accident isn't on the report, that doesn't mean there hasn't been one. If the accident was never reported to law enforcement or an insurance company (and possibly repaired out of pocket), there's a good chance it won't show up there. I had a Subaru that I crashed at the track (HPDE) a while ago. No accident report was filed. However, insurance covered me (~ $12K). That accident never showed up on Carfax or Autocheck...
