    Hello,
The time has come to do a full timing belt service on my b7a4 2.0. I was wondering if there are any recommendation in Central VA for a reputable shop/mechanic? thank you in advance

DIY in your own garage, believe it or not it can be done in a few hours and isn't difficult at all... then you only have to buy parts and you can save a ton of money since shops charge an arm and a leg around here

i helped a local member do their timing belt a few months ago, it took us like 6 hours including a long ass trip to the dealership to get crank pulley bolts and to get food, plenty of dicking around, breaks, etc.

I agree with the DIY approach. I did mine this summer and it was pretty easy! took me no time at all.
There are always a handful of us in NoVa who can lend a hand as well

yup... for a 1.8/ 2.0T we should say, it is mega easy haha. on most cars getting the front clip off is pretty easy though. its just intimidating, but once you've done it once you'll definitely DIY the next time
