Yeah, seems to be the likely cause. At this point, id even take springs (quattro).

H&R came out with Springs and Street Coilovers.

Who is the offset guru here? I'd like to run 19x10 all around w/ at minimum 255 width tires on a 35 sidewall (255/35/19). What's the offset I should be looking at?

Looking to lower on coils and the lowest I'll go would be just no wheel gap.

I had an Infiniti prior to the B9 A4, so I'm not that familiar with Audi fitment. In my Infiniti I ran 20x10 et 40 rear and 20x9 et 35 front with tires 275/30 and 245/35

255/35/19 is a very popular and good choice. It's slightly larger diameter on most tire brands than OEM tire sizes. I've also had two G coupes and several Audis over the years with aftermarket wheels on all of them.

Here are some wheel + tire fitments I'd recommend for a "flush" look.

    19x9 32ET + 255/35/19 tires
    19x9.5 35ET + 255/35/19 tires

19x8.5 35ET will look closer to OEM like most of the eBay wheels on page 1 of this thread. In between OEM offset and flush with fender. It's commonly selected since many lower priced wheels brands only offer 8.5 wide and 35 offset. When you jump to 10 wide, you may get that wider wheel than tire look with 255s. Plus, wheels and tires can get significantly heavier at those larger sizes. I don't like spacers so I always choose wheel brands that offer the offset I want and work with 255s; and I try to keep the overall weights less than OEM because going fast matters.

I'm about 30 mins from pulling the trigger on ground force gf6, deep concave wheels, 19x9.5, et 35, with the 255 tire. My only concern is stretch, but it looks to be pretty square. Anyone have first hand experience with these sizes?

You'll be pretty square with that fitment, regardless of the wheels brand.

What would the offset be for 19x10 flush look with 255 tires...40?

The setup would be on coils and "no wheel gap" drop

you'll have a slight stretched look. The B8 and 8.5 posts will look similar since the B9 is a similar chassis.

Looks good. What tire size did you get? Looks like you went slightly wider and taller sidewall from here.

I'm thinking of switching out my OEM all seasons for winter tires. This winter has started out rough.

Hey, these are actually just the 245/40/18 Michelin X-ice 3. The wheels have 35 offset so maybe it looks wider?

I believe these are the same size as the stock 18.

I am sure that you can get them shipped from US. The car is lowered about 1.7" (it's a non sport package).

Any reason you went with 255 size tires on 8.5 inch wheel? I was also considering 255 on my 8.5 but they're so much more expensive than 245 wheels - everywhere even Online like Tire Rack, etc. I found some sites that offer wheel calculators and the difference in size from 255 vs 245 is so minuscule I don't think the human eye could tell apart. Nice car!

    Thx for the quick reply

Not that bad overall,if my search results are correct my setup has the sport package and that should be about a 0.8" drop from Audi. the damper/springs are getting more interresting, that doubles the score :D

You get aftermarket sport coilovers which are basically aftermarket sport suspensions.

Hence, stock sport suspension = sport suspensions that came from the factory. As in, he didn't lower the car using an aftermarket product.

25.4mm is an inch. What he said is just 2.4mm off. Almost close to an inch. I read somewhere too that the stock sport suspension lowers the car by 1".

The stock offset is 40 so at 30 you will be 10mm difference. I would select 255 tires.

I know the stock offset is 40, what would be the concern to go for 30ET?

If you are keeping the stock wheel/tire measure 245/35/19 on 8 wheels, you should be fine but right in the limit.

No concern unless you don't like the look or go with a really wide tire and have rubbing issues. AZ members don't dictate your concerns.
